Chiz Trucking Limited is an integrated trucking and transportation company that focuses on providing bulk transport solutions to Corporate Organizations and individuals across Zambia.

OUR APPROACH

We aim to serve our clients with utmost integrity and honest. We believe that developing long lasting business relationships is vital in today's competitive environment. Hence, our strategy is to work with institutions on a long term basis with a view to provide services (which are second to none) at competitive rates against our competitors.

SERVICES

Chiz Trucking Limited has two (02) primary services, namely; bulk transportation of commodities and passenger/car hire. We currently service bulk transportation 'on the spot' basis, and short or mid to long term contracts.

KEY STRATEGIES

♣      Procure additional heavy duty trucks and working capital to support the company expansion and growth.

♣      Recruit credible and strong professional managers, drivers and mechanics to spearhead our growth program and social responsibility in training unskilled community members.

♣      Recruit and train local unskilled workers to enhance the improvement of our disadvantaged groups in society through on job training.

♣      Relocate to new and bigger premises to accommodate the planned expansion of the company operations.

♣      To develop mechanisms to attract larger business opportunities and wholesaling commodities. 

♣      To develop market penetration and distribution mechanisms that are cost effective and efficient.

♣      Leverage on the reputation and strong contact base of the Founder and Group Managing Director - Mr. T. Malaya that has developed over time in order to broaden opportunities for the operations.

MANAGEMENT

Mr.T. Malaya - Managing Director and Executive Chairman.

Mr. T. Malaya is the founder and Managing Director of Chiz Trucking Limited. He is a holder of a Diploma in Marketing from Evelyn Hone College. He has worked in Kabwe Rural Cooperative Union and Tweshe Cooperative Society in both as a Marketing Manager for four (4) years.. At Kwik Save (Metro Cash and Carry) he worked there as a Store Manager for 2 years.  He has been in transportation and commodities trading for over fifteen years, vis-à-vis cement, maize, fertilizer and mealie-meal). He therefore has a wealth of experience in business management.

Mrs. C. Malaya - Deputy Managing Director.

Mrs. Malaya is responsible for day to day administration of the company. She directly supervises the passenger transport operation by allocating vehicles to drivers, ensuring that we maintain prime customer service. She is responsible for monitoring cash collections. She equally has extensive experience in transport business.

Mr. A.V. Makova – General Manager

Mr. A.V. Makova holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering (Bsc Compt) from the University of Zimbabwe. He has a Graduate Diploma in Linux Administration and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) from Africa Virtual University (AVU). He is a member of Institute of Transport and Logistics (RSA). Mr. Makova is a well experienced manager in logistics and transport management with a broader knowledge to cater for each and every transport and logistics challenge.

Prior to joining Chiz Trucking he worked with KABS Carriers for six years in his capacity as a General Manager.

At Chiz he is responsible for contract management and outsourcing as well as overseeing transport and logistics management.

Mr. G. R. Situnya - Marketing and Sales Manager.

Mr. G. R. Situnya holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering (Bsc. Chem Eng) from the Copperbelt University. He is responsible for marketing and customer service.

Prior to joining Chiz Trucking Limited, Mr. Situnya worked for Total Oil (Zambia) Limited as Marketing Coordinator responsible for Copperbelt region.

Mr. Ngosa B. Mulamba - Finance Manager

Mr. Ngosa is the Finance Manager, responsible for managing our finances and raising working capital that the business may require. He has been trained both in Zambia (at the University of Zambia) and the Republic of South Africa.

His progressive experience includes, working at COMESA as an Assistant Finance Officer and for JMT Accounting Services (Pvt.) Limited, RSA, as an Accounting and Corporate Finance Consultant.

Mr. P. Tonga - Logistics Officer

He is responsible for procurement and handling of orders as well as fleet management. He is very well vested in this field with experience of more than ten (10) years. In addition, he is also responsible for documentation on all operational aspects.

STAFF SIZE  

Currently, Chiz Trucking Limited has a workforce of fifty five (55) full-time - permanent employees and a casual workforce of 25 people. The Company has a very low rate of staff turnover since acquiring some aids policies and sensitizations to all our workers regardless of position and grade.

We are in the process of forming a Board of Directors in order to oversee policy formulations and functions.
